Project OC I

This is for a Project OC Raffle (www.deviantart.com/journal/PRO…) made by (I don't know how to feature journals in the description). The objective of this project is to show a little more love to the OCs we've neglected.

These are the portraits of some of the OCs I've neglected in one form or another (I regret that there are more that these 30 OCs). Some of them I never really used, others I started but never got around to finishing, and still some others I've even forgotten. I'll list them numerically (the number is in no specific order): -forgive me if the list is too long for you-

1.) Silverfrost- Silverfrost is one of the main characters of my story, "Halliforxen and the Nine Elemental Clans." Silverfrost is a Pheloktar (made up alien, shapeshifting race), and the son of my Protagonist, Halliforxen (Skyhawk). His story is almost as important as Halliforxen, but I got around to grasp or develop his story. I also forgot how to pronounce/spell his name in his father's native tongue (Halliforxen means Skyhawk for example). His three forms are Pheloktor (native), human, and arctic wolf. His hair/fur is a mixture of white and silver.

2.) Venomserpent (Vinelsoreph)- He is also from the story, "Halliforxen and the Nine Elemental Clans." He is also the same species as Halliforxen and Silverfrost. However, he is not related to either, but is a mentor for Halliforxen. His three forms are Pheloktar, human, and serpent. His hair/fur/scales are a mixture of black and green. Honestly, that is about all I have of him.

3.) Nightwolf (Nyqammawreph)- Nyqammawreph is Halliforxen's younger brother. He is one of those annoying little brothers that you want to punch and hug at the same time. His three forms are Pheloktar, human, and forest wolf. His hair/fur is a mixture of blue and white.

4.) ForestTiger (Tygiratel)- Tygiratel is Halliforxen's mate and the mother of Silverfrost. She is a huntress filled with fiery determination and drive. She's independent by nature, and knowledgeable in the skills of survival. Her three forms are Pheloktar, human, and tiger. Her hair/fur is a mixture of two different shades of green.

5.) FireEagle- Like Silverfrost, I forgot his native interpretation of his name. He is Tygiratel's older brother and the uncle of Silverfrost (by the way, if you've been wondering why Silverfrosts older relatives almost look as young as him it's because of their lifespan. The first nineteen or so years age like a human's, but after their prime, they age 1/19th the rate of a human, and their shapeshifting allows for some leniency in age appearance). His three forms are Pheloktar, human, and eagle. His hair/fur/feathers are a mixture of orange and black.

6.) One of the forgotten OCs. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name of his species or his name, but his species is the rival species of the Pheloktar. They are shapeshifters as well, but only have two forms (native and human). The age faster than the Pheloktar, but slower than a human. This individual was a child of his species that takes the side of the Pheloktar. There is a prophecy about him which I wrote in my poem, "The Lanterns of Firotho."

7.) She is a fun-loving Pheloktar, but I forgot her name as well (I really need to stop forgetting these guys). Somewhere I listed the names of each and every one of these OCs and more. This young Pheloktar is not related to any of my other Pheloktar, but has a crush on Nightwolf. I do not remember her animal form either, but her hair/fur is a mixture of red and pink.

8.) Ranteleus- He is a roman Gladiator who finds a thrill in challenges. Everyday, he looks forward to testing his limits. I started a little story with him, but it never got past the first chapter.

9.) Sraq Telphroih- I can say and write so much about this important character. He is essential to the plot of my series, The Legacy of Taqresu and Xxtvee (Tlotax), but I never really developed him as a character. He is a Crysteloidve, not a dragon (there are biological differences). His son is Phelisojf (#27), and he is a mentor to Taqresu (icon at the time of this post). He is an astronomer, philosopher, biologist, chemist, and a leader to his people.

10.) Subject 2-50 I forgot his name, but he is a character based on my dreams (where I was this character). He was a normal guy living on Earth, when he finds himself as the subject of an experiment and turned into a humanoid (anthro) cat.

11.) Andrew- He is a boy who finds this magical fantasy land while exploring a forest. The fantasy land is paralleled with our world and some people, like Andrew, have the ability to see pathways between the two worlds and the inhabitants of fantasy creatures in our world. He was created in a short story which I still have in my room.

12.) Jorn Naqre- Jorn lives in a world of two intelligent species, humans and whispers. Whispers are shadowy beings that can move around like ghosts. One day Jorn encountered a mysterious force that made him half whisper (literally).

13.) I forgot the name of this individual as well, but he is from a story of mine that is pure fantasy (no modern day or sci-fi elements). He is a boy who saw his entire villiage burned. Not knowing why, he runs to the forest, only to find a mysterious teacher.

14.) Conner Firesight- He is another character from my story, "Halliforxen and the Nine Elemental Clans." However he is not an alien like the Pheloktars and their rival species. He is a human born in the "Flyers of the High Skies, and has the ability to turn into an eagle with the ability to use fire. He is the cousin of Andrew Longwing (#24, not 11).

15.) Ronden- Ronden is an alien who's unaware of his origin. He's lived on Earth all his life, but has a kind of distrust for humanity because of his mistreatment in his past.

16.) Diyko- Diyko is a member of a fox-like race on a world I have yet to name. His story does not involve humans or any species like them, but is about the community and lifestyles of his species.

17.) Jayvon Witherell- He is a member of a bat-like race on the same world as Diyko. I've made a couple drawings of him in the past, but I've neglected him as a character.

18.) Here is another OC I have forgotten over time. He was a boy forced into labor in a world of machines (based off child labor during the industrual age), when he is thrust into a world of myth and life.

19.) Vesper Tilio- Vesper is one of the those OCs (and many of mine are like this) where I started out concentrated on him, but then my focus on him fizzled out. Based on my interest in Bats, I used my research quite a bit here (his name comes from the the word Vespertilionidae meaning "evening bats" and is actually the largest Family in the Order Chiroptera). He is one of many animal based OCs that I created recently.

20.) Walter- Walter is a child, like #18, born into apocolyptic world with children who have lost their right of innocence and sent into labor. In Walter's case, it was mining. However, I added quite a bit of sci-fi and fantasy in a way I never have before, with owls and time travel.

21.) Nicholas Fuhr- For a while, I never had a name for this character, he started out as a random portrait. He (along with Quinton #28, Maxton #29, Erick #30, and others) were, again, children in an apocolyptic setting, but it is an entirely sci-fi world where they were rebels, not forced laborers. Nicholas is their leader.

22.) Ron- So far Ron has basically been a drawn character and not so developed as some of my other OCs. He's a humaniod Ferret that well... ferrets. Thievery and persuasion is among his talents along with skills like stealth (not the same as thievery but compatable with it). He is one of the first successful results of my test with animal facial features.

23.) I don't remember this character's name but he was a character in my TLoTaX story. I felt that I needed to include more characters from my very first draft of TLoTaX in this post. He is a rebel not only of the war ravaging the Sorphyous system, but is also a rebel to the structured colony system of his species (I won't personally say if I agree with him or not). Regardless, he becomes one of Taqresu's closest friends.

24.) Andrew Longwing- Do not mistake him with the Andrew stated earlier (#11), this Andrew is Conner's (#14) older cousin. He is as out-going and adventurous as people can be. He can turn into an eagle as well, but his ability involve his wings in flight (every member in Conner's and Andrew's clan gain a surname based on their abilities).

25.) Amethystwildcat- Another of the Pheloktar where I forgot her native name. She is the daughter of Halliforxen and Tygiratel, and a brother of Silverfrost. These two siblings grew up in different parts of the U.S. without knowledge of their heritage. Her three forms are Pheloktar, human, and a feline species similar to bobcats. Her hair/fur is black and purple.

26.) This character is one I drew for my animal reference quite a bit, but never really developed a character or story for him.

27.) Mer-Sraq Phelisojf- He is the son and advisor of Telphroih. Their roles as leaders of their race requires a Sraq (leader) and Mer-Sraq (advisor). That leadersip system is headed by Sraq Telphroih and Mer-Sraq Phelisojf. Phelisojf's intelligence also excells past his peers and others in his community.

28.) Quinton Cogdell- Quinton is from the same story as Nicholas #21. In their little rebelion in the is the scientist of the group. Since he used to be a scientific advisor for a powerful company, he know his way around business and technology.

29.) Maxton Krogman- Maxton is sometimes the most fired-up member or the most laid back member of the group depending on the circumstances. Unfortunately I don't really have a history for him.

30.) Erick Hawke- Erick is a lot like Nyqammawreph, but from a different story. He's the comic relief in a dark world, and valuable in ways that he doesn't yet realize.

I'm sorry for the large text block, but these are just thirty of the the many OCs I've neglected. I might try another batch, but I need a way to condense their descriptions so that readers (you) don't have to scroll up and down to identify the characters.
