Artessok: New World part 1

     There is a stupid test tomorrow, I hate tests. Here I am eating my dinner, and all I am thinking about is this test in U.S. Government. If it was Algebra I wouldn't be so worried, but a test on the Declaration of Independence would kill my grade if I fail. "What's wrong, Robert?" asked my mom. "Oh, it's nothing," I replied, I don't think she bought it though. After I finished my food I went to bed, it was 7:48 pm.
     I fell asleep right away. Then, when I woke up, it was 2:39 am. Suddenly, I hear this strange noise, it sounds like a whirlpool with a distant melody. The melody seems to be made of harp notes. It is coming from the livingroom. I am going to investigate the strange melodious, whirlpool sounds.
     As I enter the room, I see a bright portal. I had to squint my eyes as they adjusted. There is a silhouette of a tall, humanoid figure. "Hello Robert," said the figure in a deep voice, "come see what awaits you in the magical land of Artessok." I hesitate, I'm being asked to go into a portal by a mysterious stranger, should I trust him. It must be a dream, so what can go wrong. I enter the portal of mystery.
     I wake up in an outdoor area. The Sun is rising and it's a new day. But something is off, I'm outside when I fell asleep in my own house. Not only that, but sun is rising in the West instead of the East. I know this because I'm on a road intersection saying that the road leading towards the sun is called "West lies the Capital" What is going on here where am I? My back feels weird, but before I can check why, soldiers in icy blue uniforms come up to me on horseback.
     "Who are you and why are you outside city limits at dawn?" asked one of the guards. "My name is Robert Pitenn, and I don't know where I am." The other guard laughed and said, "You must one of those kids sneaking out to have a midnight stroll in the forest. I'm taking you back to the Capital." I tried running away but they caught me. "Oh no you don't, you're going send a couple of days in jail for breaking curfew." said the guard who was holding on to me.
     When we entered the Capital, I noticed that it was just a giant castle, the biggest I've ever seen. We were heading down the main road and I am spotting many shops and houses along the way. Then after a while, we make it to the center of the City. It is really fancy, with gardens and carvings around the building. Inside, I gasped, looking at the beautiful paintings, statues, and detailed rugs. We go into this throne room and on the golden throne sat a man with a beautiful crown.
     "Your Majesty," said the guards as they bowed, "We found this boy out of the city limits past curfew." The king paused for a moment and then said, "Imprison him for 2 days, that should give him some time to think before attempting to leave at night." I start struggling, but the guards stopped me. It looks like I'm off for jail. I sure hope this is another dream.
